We check you against the protocol.
Rehab for bones, joints and ligaments, including everything after surgery. Bring the protocol. We follow it exactly, and we treat you like a person while we do.
What It Is
Orthopedic therapy is rehab for the hard structures: bone, joint, ligament and tendon. Sprains, fractures, torn tissue, worn-out joints, and everything that comes after an operation.
If a surgeon sent you here, you already have a protocol with stages and limits written on it. We read it, we follow it, and we tell you what each stage is protecting. Nothing gets skipped to look impressive. Nothing gets stalled to fill visits.
You are also more than a repaired knee. Treatment is one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, the same one who evaluated you, in a small clinic that is never crowded. Patients tell us that part is what the bigger places could not give them.
Surgeon protocols followed exactly
What It Helps
Bones, joints and ligaments, and the rehab that follows an operation.
What A Session Looks Like
1
We check you against the protocol.
2
Hands-on work for the motion you are cleared for.
3
Then loading, and the plan for this week.
Why It Works
Motion coming back on schedule, not behind it.
Your protocol followed exactly, and explained.
Trust in the joint again, not just strength.
A finish line: back to work, back to normal.

Questions, Answered
Early on, moving a repaired joint is uncomfortable. That is expected, and it is not damage. We work at the edge of what you can tolerate that day, never past what your protocol allows, and we stop when you say stop. You will always know what is coming before we do it.
Yes, exactly as written, and we will explain what each stage is protecting. If you look ready to move ahead sooner, that is a conversation with your surgeon, not a call we make behind their back. Bring the paperwork to your first visit. You should not have to police your own rehab.
Most insurance plans cover orthopedic and post-surgical physical therapy. We check your exact plan before your first session and tell you plainly what it covers, so there is no surprise on your bill. Questions before then? Call us at (818) 341-3791.
