We ask before we treat.
Specific questions about how it actually happened, then a plain explanation of what we found. Patients name this more than anything else we do.
About Jewel Physical Therapy
Most clinics manage your symptoms and call it a plan. We built this place to end them: one-on-one, with a licensed physical therapist, every single visit.
You have probably been to the other kind. The big room, the six patients at once, the aide who reads your file for the first time while you are already on the table. You left with a printout and a vague sense that nobody had actually looked at you.
Jewel Physical Therapy is the other way round. It is one clinic, at 17750 Sherman Way in Reseda, and it carries the name of the person who runs it. Patients here do not describe a facility. They describe people: they name the therapist who treated them, and they say things like “they actually care” and “personalized care instead of feeling like just another patient.” That is a choice about how the place is run, not an accident of size.
Care starts with a cause-first evaluation. Before anyone treats anything, a licensed physical therapist works out what is driving your pain, because the spot that hurts and the thing causing it are often two different places. Then your plan runs through four phases, in this order: Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent. You will always know which phase you are in and what is left, which is another way of saying your plan has an endpoint.
We treat eighteen conditions, from low back pain and sciatica to vertigo, pelvic pain and total knee replacement rehab, using seventeen different treatments. You will not need to know which one you need. Working that out is our job, and it happens on your first visit.
You do not need a doctor’s referral. California lets you book physical therapy directly, and if your insurance wants paperwork from a physician, we chase that down instead of making you do it. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am, and Saturday mornings, which matters if the only reason you have not dealt with this yet is that you work when everyone else is open.
Tell us where it hurts. We will tell you what it is and how long it takes to fix. Schedule an appointment, or call (818) 341-3791 and a real person will pick up.
What We Believe
Specific questions about how it actually happened, then a plain explanation of what we found. Patients name this more than anything else we do.
You’ve probably chased the sore spot before and never found out why it started. Find the why and the fix stops being temporary.
You shouldn’t need a punch card. Four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent, and a way to know you’ve earned the next one.
Your job, your body, your goal. That’s what your plan is built around, never pulled off a shelf.
The Difference
Feel the difference in your first visit.
Schedule AppointmentRooted in Reseda
The clinic sits on Sherman Way, between Reseda and Northridge, and most of the people on our schedule live within a few minutes of it. Your neighbors, your coworkers, the person ahead of you at the pharmacy. Recovery is a lot less abstract when the person treating you shops at the same market you do.
